The Ryker's Rainbow Community Prayer Garden was built for you. For the names you hold close. For the mornings that are harder than most.
Nestled in the heart of Jones Valley on the grounds of Valley United Methodist Church, this sacred space honors children loved and lost — and reminds every family who walks through its gates that their child is remembered here, among a community that does not forget.
The garden welcomes all families who have experienced the loss of a child, regardless of age, the time that has passed, or the manner of their passing. This space is for you.

Your child's name belongs here
Along the garden walls, cast bronze plaques hold the names of children whose lives — however brief — changed everything. A permanent, lasting place where names are not just remembered, but honored.
Memory plaques are ordered twice a year — once in spring and once in fall. Each plaque holds 40 names, and submissions close when the plaque is full. We encourage families not to wait.
Once your child's name is submitted, it will be honored during our annual December 6th candlelight ceremony — whether you are able to join us in the garden or not.
We welcome your donation of any amount to honor a loved one on our Memory Wall. Your gift helps us maintain and preserve this special space of peace and remembrance.
This garden stands because of people who chose to be the light.
The Community Prayer Garden was brought to life by the generosity of individuals, families, businesses, and community partners who believed in this vision before a single stone was laid. Because of them, grieving families now have a place to come — a permanent, beautiful space where their children are remembered and their grief is held with care.
